Space Needle

Space Needle is an observatory tower located in downtown Seattle. It is famous among tourists for its unique shape and style that was built for the 1962 World's Fair. It is also famous for its observatory deck, located 520 feet above ground and revolving restaurant at 500 feet.

The needle is located in a complex called Seattle Center, an entertainment center where theme park rides, museums and events center is.

I haven't been actually up the needle because I wasn't able to visit the center during my last trip to seattle. We went up the tower in the morning together with Chester and his relatives.

View from the deck in the morning. It was a dark and hazy day and dark clouds were present at that time. Seattle is known for its rains whole year round.

We also went back to the Space Needle that night. This time I was with Mark whom we look at as a "local" and fellow MVPs, including Chester.
