Fathers' Day Dinner at Jatujak

Last Sunday was Fathers' Day so we took out our dad for a dinner. The whole family went to Jatujak in SM Megamall or the treat. Some of us have eaten here before and like them I recommend this restaurant for a taste of an authentic Thai food and delicacies.

The restaurant is a bit small and can hardly fit more than 20 inside.

There were a couple of tables outside and because the restaurant was already full, we were seated there where people can see us eating.

The restaurant gave us a "free" sample of their Thai Iced Tea for us to taste. At first I thought it tasted good but there was an after taste and some hint of lemon grass so I didn't like it. This is similar to nai-cha (milk tea) but sweeter and creamier.

Here are some of the items we ordered:

Tom Yum All-Shrimps

Green Curry Chicken (Kaew Kiew Waan Gai) and Prawns with Garlic, Cilantro and Pepper (Pia Mug Kratiem Prig Thai)

Lapulapu with Garlic Chili Sauce (Pla Rad Prik)

Pomelo and Prawn Salad (Yam Som O)

Squid with Garlic, Cilantro and Pepper (Goong Kratiem Prig Thai) and Bagoong Rice (Kao Kluk Gapi)

Thai Pork Spareribs (See Kiong Moo Daeng)

The food in Jatujak is good as expected. Price ranges from 200+ - 400+ PHP depending on the type of the dish you are ordering and the size. For the taste I find it just alright if not resonable enough.

This isn't related to Jatujak and the food anymore but we saw this in Toy Kingdom just a couple of stores away. It's a cute inflated toy dog which you can drag around as if it's your pet.
